TAMI.

One piece is all It takes.

Tami is heavily inspired by my love for Japanese culture and tradition. During my first year of studies I grew close to the philosophy of Naoto Fukasawa. Giving me a deeper understanding on what it means to design. The overly used term minimalism should not only entail the absence of shapes and complexity. Tami is proof that carefully chosen added complexity helps making the object more minimal and even harmonious. Allowing the product to be made from only one piece and minimal cutting loss.
